The NFL has scored a major win by recently becoming the first professional sporting league to receive permission from the FAA to use drones. For the time being, NFL is only allowed to fly over empty stadiums on days when the teams aren’t playing, but this is just the first step in their long-term plan of utilizing these drones to their fullest potential.
