STEMconnector’s recent Global STEM Talent Summit brought leaders from industry, academia, philanthropy and government together to discuss solutions to the near-term STEM talent shortage in the U.S.  Base 11 CEO Landon Taylor joined UC Irvine’s engineering dean Gregory Washington and Dassault Systemes US Foundation’s president Al Bunshaft on a panel about “Innovative and Impactful STEM Talent Development Strategies.” On the panel the three announced their exciting new partnership to develop engineering talent.  In addition, Deloitte Foundation president Tonie Leatherby announced a partnership with Base 11 to launch a STEM career accelerator model that reaches high-potential, low-resource high school students.
