Aerospace Symposium & Expo at the Mars Society Convention

Base 11, UCI and Dassault Systems are hosting a FREE symposium (1 – 4 p.m.) and expo (4 – 7 p.m.) at the 20th Annual International Mars Society Convention to address the greatest challenges, and showcase innovative solutions, to solving the aerospace talent pipeline crisis. The objective of the symposium and expo is to bring industry, academia, philanthropy and students together around the common goal of developing the talent pipeline (workforce and entrepreneurs) required to build and run the technology and launch systems needed to get to space.

Symposium on Educating the Future Aerospace Workforce
How do we develop the talent pipeline to get to space? The aerospace industry requires a workforce with the skills to fuel the needed innovation for big goals of the next decade, such as putting people on Mars. Through both panels and a series of short, Ted-like presentations, experts will share their efforts, and the newest approaches to solve the talent pipeline crisis.
An inspirational keynote will be delivered by Virgin Galactic CEO George Whitesides. Check out the full list of speakers from Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Dassault and more.
Workforce Development Expo: Showcasing Exciting Careers in Aerospace
Interactive expo booths and hands-on displays will be provided by employers, schools, and aerospace related organizations. The goal is to inspire students with exciting aerospace job opportunities as well as showcasing leading-edge technologies.
