We at Base 11 are deeply saddened by the recent violence against Asian Americans occurring in cities across the U.S. and are horrified by the senseless murders in Atlanta. Our team, our board, and our extended family stand in unwavering support of our Asian community against all forms of racism and acts of hate.
Our nation has an unfortunate history of overtly oppressing Asian Americans while also quietly overlooking significant contributions that the community has made to the country’s growth and prosperity. Over the last two centuries, American fashion, architecture, medicine, technology, advanced manufacturing, education, the arts and many other fields have been significantly impacted by the contributions of Asian Americans.
To our brothers and sisters of the Asian community: We see you. We celebrate you. We stand with you!
